JENNY PUGSLEY
Jenny Pugsley has lived in Richmond since 1981.  She worked in the field of English language teacher training and management, in the British Council and at Trinity College London, the international examinations board.  She has been with the SIT STOP team since 2011, and this was her first experience of learning at first-hand about disability issues.   For the last three years she has been the carer for a close family member with limited mobility.

JILL DREWETT
Jill has lived in Richmond and Twickenham for over 50 years, bringing up her family and running her husband’s business.  Over the years she has worked for several voluntary organisations in the borough.
 
LYDIA PARBURY
Lydia has lived with her family in the borough of Richmond for 35 years. She has worked in teaching, the British Council and the Diplomatic Service Families Association as a special needs adviser. It was her son Jonathan who thought that there should be more places to sit down when out and about and this idea was the birth of SIT STOP. Lydia has also been involved in disability access issues with her son who was disabled.

WENDY TANSEY
Wendy has lived in Richmond for nearly 40 years. She became involved in the SIT STOP project at its inception. She is one of the RSA Fellows who worked on the initial Coffee House Challenge where the SIT STOP idea first defined.  She currently chairs the group.
She is a graduate of University College London and spent her career in financial services. She is retired but serves on the board of a local not-for-profit company and acts as a mentor to some pupils at a local school.
